Belmont Town Elections
Belmont has rescheduled its local elections for June 23rd this year. Voters will select Town Meeting members and town officers, including a Town Moderator and members of the School Committee and Select Board.
Request an Absentee Ballot
Every voter is eligible to receive an absentee ballot this year, and the town has encouraged every voter to vote by mail. Send your written request (application form or letter) by any ONE of the following methods:
1) By email to mpiccione@belmont-ma.gov (send pdf or clear photo of signed form or letter)
2) By fax to (617) 993-2601
3) By dropping off into the box outside the entrance to the Town Hall Building (facing the driveway).

Register to Vote
Eligible voters can register to vote through the Office of the Secretary of the Commonwealth. If you have a Massachusetts ID issued by the RMV, you can register online through the site. If not, you can create and print an application and register by mail.
What’s on my ballot?
All ballots will include the offices of Moderator, Select Board, School Committee, Treasurer, Board of Assessors, Board of Cemetery Commissioners, Board of Health, Housing Authority, and Library Trustees. Voters in each precinct will also elect twelve Town Meeting members for three year terms.
